The neoconservative think-tank-Heritage Foundation-right believes they’ll disembowel the health insurance reform opportunity AND CRIPPLE THE LIBERAL PRESIDENT (and ‘agenda’) between now and when the August recess returns supposedly terrified legislators (especially Blue Dog Democrats) to Washington.
Here’s the proof of their “mission”:
“If we’re able to stop Obama on this it will be his Waterloo. It will break him,” he (South Carolina Senator Jim DeMint) said:
Conservative leaders will push delay any vote on health care reform until after the August recess to capitalize on what they say is a growing tide of opposition to reform measures, they said on a conference call with “tea party” participants today.
“I can almost guarantee you this thing won’t pass before August, and if we can hold it back until we go home for a month’s break in August,” members of Congress will hear from “outraged” constituents, South Carolina Senator Jim DeMint said on the call, which was organized by the group Conservatives for Patients Rights.
Rush Limbaugh: We’ll Be Ready in the Fall, Dingy:
And let me tell you something, Senator Reid. We will be ready for you when you come back after the August recess. We will be ready. And, Senator Reid, your colleagues are going to go home for the August recess and they’re going to have meetings, town meetings, and they’re going to hear a barrage like they haven’t heard.
And the “barrage” will be strung together Heritage Foundation position papers (lies), Limbaugh-Hannity-Beck talk-host rants (circular logic), millions a day insurance lobbying (fear-mongering) backed by swift-boating PAC’s (Conservatives For Patient’s Rights) and RNC consultants (Newt Gingrich and Frank Luntz)! All of it ideological propaganda intended to stop you, me and your granny from routing insurance bureaucrats and the Wall Street investor class from our doctor’s office.
Why? Cement their radical anarchist-market goal of creating a fascist America.
How do we stop them? Light up their lies.
Outing their destructive propaganda strategy is simple: know the strategy, counter it, defeat it –simple– not easy. Having your own strategy– our own strategy– without the aid of their billion-dollar think tanks, and having few of our own– we are left to improvise. Devise. Strategize. And I think we can do it.
Using our own best resources, ourselves, we may just be ahead of the game.
Liberal think tanks, what few there are, may have been unintentionally impeding our ability to win for our values. And knowing that it IS VALUES that trumps policy is our starting point.
Like stealth guerrilla fighters or adaptive mammals darting between epochs, we become progressivism’s core PRINCIPLES IN ACTION: flat-networked, self-contained, interdependent and self-training warrior thinkers.
Nature rewards cooperation. Man rewards competition. We can use both.
We can study the radical market anarchists think-tanks successes, adapt their best practices, shed their ideological bureaucracy, reclaim our individual power from every party and simply, EFFECTIVELY, network and go to work.
Stick with me kids, there’s much more to follow.

Healthcare reform is now becoming health insurance reform? I guess that means that socialized medicine is now becoming socialized health insurance? When I worked in Corrections, while I was getting my Computer Science degree, one of the things I learned is, when a criminal starts changing the details of his story to make it more believable, it’s a sure sign that he is lying.

Bill. I was correcting, not changing, the details.
You see, according to the Republican talking points memo created by pollster Frank Luntz (who works closely with Newt Gingrich) in MARKETING conservative ideology, there is no health “care” crises. There is health “insurance” crises. But it pays to use the terminology the Heritage Foundation think-tank has co-created to frame the debate in health CARE terms so that the discussion can be set up so that when the problem “We need health CARE reform” is presented it can be answered, “No, we don’t. Our health CARE system is the best in the world, blah, blah blah.”
Now, the answer may be true (it may be the best or not) but unless you are one of the richest people in the world and can afford it, like those who bankrolled the conservative think-tank Heritage Foundation so they COULD be the richest people in the world, how does it matter?
You see, Bill. when I worked in mediation, and while I was finishing 2 business degrees, one of the things I learned is, that when a party is losing a belief-system battle (or market share) and starts changing the terms to hide their agenda, it’s a sure sign the consumer is getting it up the ass.
